I read about this device that is plug n play turning your old non bluetooth stereo into one with bluetooth capabilities. Anyone else heard of this or heard of someone else who bought one?

GliderMike if you have a stock HK head unit you could use a SaddleTramp Bluetooth module and have handlebar controls for your songs. I got one for mine and it works pretty good. I didn't have enough room for it under my fairing because of all the junk I stuffed in there so I took it out of the plastic housing and sealed it up in a bag. It even comes with a USB charging port if you want one.

Do not purchase this device! The price is 4 times higher than you can get elsewhere like Walmart,Amazon, etc. And it's the exact same device. He didnt create it as he claims. He must be buying from Amazonand then jacking the price and calling it Hogtooth. Nothing but a scam!

I just happened to think today how much I like the Metra kit. It's not often I use a GPS or my phone on the handlebar mount but today I put my phone on the mount and connected it through the Metra Bluetooth. I had Google Maps up for a trip and was listening to music streaming from the phone. I was able to control the music with my thumb controls and the phone muted the music whenever Google Maps gave an audio cue.

All in all a pretty good setup. I got an adapter to convert the mini USB plug from my GPS to a micro plug and can charge the phone while riding with it.

 

It is a china product a guy buys and sells a Harley type product with his name on it.

They work well but have a long pigtail first bump it's gone.
