Default Got to meet Lefty33

While on vacation in the smokeys I got to meet Lefty33 from Canada. My group was at a restaurant (I cant even tell you where) when Lefty asked my gang who owned the anniversary SG. He knew my bike from the forum. I got in trouble for turning my stuff up as they were having a board meeting in one of the rooms at the restaurant and someone came out and asked me to turn it down.

Nice meeting you Lefty33. It is a small world.

Just got home and was going to post this up as well but you beat me to it. Sure was nice Gypsye!! Always nice to "put a face to the name". What a random meeting...in the little town of Townsend, TN in the middle of nowhere. Five couples headed down to NC & TN for 10 days of some fantastic riding through the Smokeys. Girls weren't interested in the "Dragon" so we did it on our own and stopped in for lunch in Townsend. Saw the bikes sitting there and went over to check them out. Noticed the Anniversary SG with a "system" and the Indiana plates and thought...hmmmm...could it be? Asked one of your buddies, does the owner have a killer audio system, is he on HD Forums (one guy says "OH YEAH") and is his name Bob? Affirmative on all 3. I knew then that the travelingypsye was in town

Yep...that system of yours POUNDS!! I can confirm that "Turn up for What" brought a woman out of their board meeting to ask it to be turned down. Apparently it was "distracting".

Once again...so cool meeting! Till next time

Strangely enough I still remember my call letters from the 70s. KXP-5260 I believe it was.

CB radios. Here's some blast from the past. My old base station consisted of a Pace 1000b sidetalk with a d-104 mike, Blackcat 2000 linear, siltronix vfo, a penetrator stick and a set of moonraker 4's beams. Now how many here know what I am talking about? Since its my thread, I will highjack it. lol And yes I talked skip a lot.....

I also know some who read this will google that shixx too.

Awesome, not quite a moonraker. My parents wouldn't allow it on the house. But a super big stick, cobra 142 gtl, d-104 and the switches on the back for the "added" channels! I forget what kind of kicker I had.....
