We simply set them to a generic setting in order to test the setup. Next step was tuning the amp. Never got to that step. We are still in the test phase.

Or should I say "What the F***?" Phase.

Have you tried running a couple speakers directly off of the sony after you removed the RCAs?

No. We assumed it would be fine.

We did test each speaker with the amp. All 4. Same result.

This is literally driving us crazy.

Could it be a bad amp or something else causing interference?

Completely lost here.

I used a double A battery to determine the positive terminal on the speaker.

The larger terminal is the positive and the smaller terminal is the negative. Each speaker was double and triple checked. The wires are color coded to be sure they are hooked up correctly.

It could be a bad amp but it would be the first one I have heard of and that amp gets used a lot around here. There needs to be a first for everything though.

Maybe try flipping them just for troubleshooting purposes.

Also so are you trying this with bike running? On a tender? Or just off the battery?

Tried off the battery and tender.

Have not tried running as the gas tank is still off the bike.

Going to go reverse the terminals and see what happens.

Will report back.

Seriously, we would try a voo doo doctor at this point if we thought it would work.

Appreciate the help!

Well the only other thing I could think to try is a different amp and I’m guessing you font have one of them laying around.
