If you just have 4 speakers I would use the ARC PSM. It’s small will fit in your fairing and super easy to use.

If all you're ever going to do is 4 speakers then I wouldn't waste my time nor effort on a DSP.

I just reread your post and thought you just had the stock HU. I see now you have the boom audio if that’s the case I would t waste any money on a DSP. If you go aftermarket speaks and an amp then it’s a good tool to have even with just 4 speakers.

Ok I clarify, sorry guys new to this. I致e got the boom audio with nav deck that I知 keeping. I have a soundigital 800.4 that is the old style and gonna add 4 6.5 of some kind if that helps. I知 confused cause some say run a dsp, then some say flash for deck and some say don稚 flash your deck

Well the dsp will surely help for sure with the old style SD amp you have. Will a flash help of course it will but not needed if going the DSP route. I say it’s your money and time spend it how you want. Nothing wrong with trying and learning how to use a DSP. Never know it may lead you to expand to more speakers down the road.

Then I'd say sell the SD amp and buy a tunable amp, forego the DSP and it's learning curve, pickup a couple BT line levelers and call it a day.
