Thinking of adding 8s inside my bags facing the wheel, i already have the PRVs 8MB600FT (8 ohm) on the shelf, and I only have ch3 and ch4 that I can use from my SD800.4 evo (old model) (4 ohm), I also have another pair of Mmats 801CX (coaxials) that I can use as well, what would be my best way to go with? I am using a DSP in my setup.

Use the 8ohm prv wired bridge/parallel. They could take more power but that will make the most of what you have.

 

How much power approximately I will be able to give each speaker?

 

That amp should put out about 500w on a bridged channel so 250 each speaker when wired bridge/parallel.

 

I started at 250 per speaker on those exact speakers and you will be happy with that. Good choice on the PRVs.

 

Thanks for the reply, are your running any speakers in the lids, if yes, are your bags sealed? Because I have 8s in my lids and tweeters, and I am not looking for sealing the bags.

What are you using to mount them, the square shape is a bit different than the normal 8s
