Not sure what HU you are using, but the Metra BC-AMP02 amp bracket is another option. It allows you to mount a SD 800.4 behind the headlight if you have a LED headlight. I'm using a Sony single din marine HU, along with a SD 2400.4, a SD 800.4 in my 12 Ultra. Same fairing as the 2009 Ultra.

Yeah wow! You have a ton of space in their eh? I still have to figure out where to mount my distribution block.

I'll have to check out that mount...I have a Kenwood single DIN marine receiver (no CD player) so it's super short. Yes LED headlight. Did you have to trim any of the gauges?

I've heard some people have had to trim the gauges to get a SD 2400.4 Evox to fit, but I didn't have to trim any gauges with the Metra BC-AMP02 bracket. It was tight, but it did fit.
It always helps to remove the headlight and shine a flashlight around or feel around to see how much clearance you have when test fitting amps.

This is the same bracket in my 05 Ultra. Massive TX48 on top, Stinger SPX 700 behind the headlight, Sony single din marine HU, and if you zoom in and look close, you can see I have cut away a fair bit of the top of the bracket, and have actually tucked a Dayton DSP underneath the TX48 amp, with the DSP sitting on top of my HU.
I also have a Hogtunes amp bracket on the left holding a NVX Vadm 4 amp as well. Metra also carries a pair of amp brackets that work for either side of the fairing, just like the Hogtunes amp bracket.

I'll be dammed! No need to have trimmed the gauges!!

I took the headlight out, put the fairing back on, looked through the hole and took note of what harness was intruding...moved things aside and test fitted the amps via zip ties and it works! Put the headlight back in and it fits...buttons right up!

My only concern would be the amp would be backing right up to the headlight...that's heat to heat! Do you or have you had an issues with that?
