Default JL JD400/4 Mounting ‘09 Batwing

Thinking about changing up amps. Will JL400/4 fit above single DIN hu on 2009 EG? JL amp dimensions say W 9 7/8 H 2 1/8 D 7 1/2. If won’t fit above hu what mount do recommend?

I ran the ss pn4.10000d in my 2012 batwing. That amp was super tight on top of my deck. It is 10.25 x 4.75 x 1.5 inches. I dont see how that will fit.

Fireball Jack thanks for info. Looks like the Metra BC-AMP02 for 98’-‘’13 batwing amp bracket may work mounting amp on vertical plane side of bracket. I have led headlight so it’s shallow in that area.

The JL 400/4 and the 600/6 will both fit in the fairing of the 13 and down batwing with an aftermarket HU. The amp need to be mounted at an angle from the middle of the back of the guages down to the headlight.

Just to clarify, Babyboy has pictured the XD model, I think the OP inquired about the JD model....Not sure if the chassis differs between the 2?
