Cicada ch69.2 ch65.2 xpert ex4 amp
Searched and searched the forum and couldn't find much on these. Anyone running these cicada 2 ohm speakers for fairing and lids and how much power are you sending them? They are Rated at 250 RMS each. 2018 road glide and I am re doing my stereo pretty soon here during the offseason. Have the xpert ex4 amp to go with these. No dsp. I can send 400 per speaker with this amp. 1.5 x RMS is good rule of thumb?

I'm currently sending 300 per speaker to my fairing CH65's and they are loud and clear. I am using a Dayton DSP to calm down the highs and warm everything up a bit though.

Like Elo said, 300w to each would be good.
I am running 380w to CH65.4's, crossed at 100hz on mine right now and they take it all day long. I wanted to see how long they last at these settings and they just keep playing.

I'm running 2ohm ch69's in the bags powered by a Arc Moto 720 at 180 watts each. The fronts are Arc cx6, 4ohm at 150 watts each. This combo pounds, is very clear and balanced without a dsp. I had the Arc cx69 in the bags which sound great but at 4 ohm and 150 watts weren't loud enough. Instead of changing the amp I went to the 2 ohm horns and it made all the difference in the world. I have the fronts crossed at 110 and the horns crossed at about 100.

That EX4 will not produce 400wx4 at 2 ohm clean on a bike. It's rated at 14.4 volts. I have yet to find an Euphoria amp that will run clean on DD1 at rated power. Just like their new EX amps are way lower than rated.
