Back in the 90's, if I saw the infamous red speaker surround I knew exactly what brand it was...
Looks like Diamond Audio is now the parent company of CV, and they have some nice gear for motorcycles. I ordered a few sets to try out:
https://cerwinvega.com/2-way-6-5-4-ohm-speaker-w-flush-mount-1-titanium-dome-tweeter-450w-max-sm65f4.html
The above will be here on Monday (will try in fairing off a 1200.4) - These are the same as the Diamond Audio HXM65F4 but with a ferrite magnet.
https://cerwinvega.com/ph654-6-5-pro-full-range-co-ax-horn-speaker-pair.html
https://cerwinvega.com/cerwin-vega-sm65.html
The above fit in the tour pak pods on pre-rushmore and get quite loud off a 1200.4 getting about 170w crossed @ 80hz 12db slope.
And these look pretty solid...play low, and 95db rating. I also like that the tweeter is Silk (easier on the ears).

Anyway...always nice to see other brands provide options.

I think I see your ears bleeding all the way from my vacation spot in Florida 🤣 from those speakers.
They be loud……. And they will lack bass and warmth with a FS of 105 and frequency response 110-18k.
I’ve heard their 6x9’s, puke. They look similar to a set of Audio Legions I tried. I couldn’t believe how shitty they sounded.
But it’s about time someone on here is trying something new! So props to you!
And Cerwin’s are by far one of my most favorite home audio speakers I ever had. Had, lost them in the divorce. That sucked! LOL.

LOL - The pro horns I won't be trying...I know that already.
The SM65 is a great speaker for TP pods. Hertz Neo's definitely get louder, but are also double the price. The SM65 definitely plays louder than the Polk MM652 from the same location.
The SM65F4 (which arrives today) I'm really hopeful for. 92db in the fairing is nice...just concerned about the Titanium tweeter...will definitely report back after some side by side testing.
The ST65C I am very eager to try...but I can't source them locally yet...will report on them once I get a set.
Now that is a messy divorce if she won't even let you keep the speakers 😉.

Installed the SM65F4 side by side tonight against the Polk Audio MM652 & the Ground Zero Yellow Basket Coax. Much to my surprise, the tweeters on the SM65F4 (being titanium) were the most pleasant to my ears in the fairing from 200watts. The Polks couldn't keep up, but at 160w, head to head, the polks and the CV, the CV were the clear winners, although the polks were no slouch. The loudness was very close, but the CV were much cleaner sounding. Against the GZ, the CV were "softer" to my ears. At 250w however, the GZ were still singing while the CV were begging me to stop.
All in all, for $425CAD a pair, and with the RGB lighting and marine rating, the CV are a good "warm" fairing speaker @ 200w crossed @ 80hz.

Good timing on this thread. I just installed the Cerwin Vega 14+ Harley Davidson Cut In Lid Kit with SM694 speakers this morning. Diamond Audio told me, when I called them, that this is the same speaker (and kit) as their HXM69F4, but with a different magnet. My initial reaction was that these speakers played quite efficiently and put out a lot of bass. The highs were quite smooth. I am running 140 watts to each, which is modest. I would compare them is size and depth to the MMATS 6x9.
