First let me ask- no jokes please about Hondas. I am on 2011 ultra limited stock headset. 2 friends on goldwings. They could hear each other on CB, and they could hear me. I could hear them keying their mica but could not hear the voice. On my bike I tried all positions on speaker switch. Stereo, I intercom between my wife and I is fine. I just can't hear the dudes on the goldwings. If we were on ch 19, I could hear truckers, I could hear someone in the back of the gas station parking lot, but not the goldwings. I adjusted the squelch to open, even tried it in various stages(I thoroughly understand CB). the person that figures his out- if local to Tampa or middle Florida I'll take you to a bar. If out of state I'll ship you some beer!

 

Interesting. Channel 19 is 19 no matter what. unless the Honda's are off frequency.or you are off frequency.
