http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....tID=FPA-HCFM-P

It's the only antenna I can find on his site

Thanks

no sir. the one I used had a small black box with 12v wiring. I don't see it on their site anymore. Might want to contact John and ask about.

You say you will not have your Tour Pak on very often. If you go with the pbr300x4, you cut your power output in half most of the time. If you get the pbr300x2, and use 4 ohm speakers, you will have all of your power to the front speakers with the Tour Pak off, and only lose a little to the front speakers when connecting the pod speakers in parallel.

Not to jump in here, but I am doing a similar thing. My fairing has 4 speakers that I will have all the time and I plan on putting 6x9s in the bags. I have two sets of bags so if I travel I can switch them out and have room for stuff. My first plan was to have two separate amps but can I hook up as you stated.

in your case, you'd be better off with a 4 channel amp and 4 ohm speakers all the way around.

Fwiw, I recently replaced the pbr 300x2 i was running with the SS 4.520d and i couldn't be happier. I am running 4 Polk DXI 651's in the upper & lower fairings bridged to 2 ohms on the front channels and a set of Polk MM 651's in the tourpak pods on the rear channels.
The sound is absolutly incredible. Crisp, clear and it actually produces clear bass i can hear at 80mph. At one time i was considering speaker lids but at this point i dont think it's necessary. I get a ton of compliments on the sound of the system and folks can't believe it sounds that good from only 6.5 inch speakers.
I want to thank everyone on this forum for their guidance and the knowledge they share with the rest of us!

another happy camper with SS amps.

if you still have the PBR300x2 and it's in good shape I'd consider purchasing for the right price.. PM me if interested.

Are you using the HK head unit or aftermarket?
