I think the PBR will drive them very well. Obviously more power is best especially when dealing with such a high-end speaker but you will be fine using what you have.

I have been waiting and waiting.. New 7.1 in front and rear( dreaming on that one )and a 4180 to push them. I just hope that they come up with a way around the DSP issue. Also thinking of the pioneer's in the bag lids after Hogtunes comes out with the 2014 lids.. Does the speakers in the lids hurt the storage area in the bags at all ?

I have the PBR and BT 7.1"'s. It would be better with a bigger amp but it works fine for my needs. I can hear it at 90 all day long. Maybe one day I'll get a different amp but this setup works great with what I am running. I want to go back in and readjust my amp settings but that damn shark fairing has had me putting this off for a while. One day soon.

you have a couple of options there. Cycle Sounds has come out with this that I'm not 100% how it actually works other than reading what's on their website. The other option is J&M amps

I'm not sure who will be first out with the x9 lids, hogtunes or cycle sounds. I'm not real big on the quality of products that comes out of cycle sounds so I'm pulling for Pez to make it happen. Either way the speakers in the lids make negligible difference in storage areas, certainly nothing to lose sleep over.

Excellent thanks for the info. I emailed Hogtunes and he said prob Nov before he does but I don't mind waiting as I like their design way better. I was hoping that BT would have a solution for DSP also but I saw the Cycle sounds adapter.. I'll wait till BT comes out with their 2014 products mid June to decide. The other option I'm sorry is not an option I would look into. Thanks again for all the great info..

What amp adjustments are you planning?
