Dragos 200hp 175 tq pro charger dyno

You would have to be at wide open throttle for a long time max rpm to kill that motor. I am talking like 3 miles wide open salt flats.
not talking about beating on anything....just wondering what affect constantly "pressurizing" the motor would have on rings and seals and such....i would thing that 12-14 lbs of boost would have detrimental side effects after time....but admittedly i am not real familiar with suprechargers.

salt flats
countless motorcycles that are blown or have a turbo survive the salt flats year after year without harm.
a properly prepared motor and boost is your friend.

Yes you are right. Thats not what I ment by that statement. I never finished what I was writing last night. (Sorry)
Ended up on the phone the rest of the night.
The question was..........(Partycrasher)
I would thing that after 12-14 lbs of boost would have detrimental side effects r time....
Answer,
Engine longevity is a function of your personal driving habits and how well your bike is tuned. If a (bike/motor) is tuned properly and not abused engine life should remain unaffected for the most part although in general any power adding modification will increase engine wear. Even a stock vehicle will show signs of premature aging if used under rigorous conditions such as racing.
I was trying to say you don't ride around like that. I was trying to give him a example what it would take to abuse that motor.
Superchargers have been around since 1921....... And they are here to stay in my world!!!
If done right!!!!!!!! (Which we do here at Drago's Bike Works for ten years.)
{QT::Boost is your friend}
And I agree you 100%
