AlCan ride in May...seeking expected conditions
Anyone able to offer conditions, tips, or advice concerning the AlCan trip below?
I'm trying to plan a ride from Anchorage, AK down the AlCan starting on May 8. We have had more than the usual amount of snow up here in Anchorage and I am concerned the roads won't be clear in time for the ride. My desired route goes to Tok, Whitehorse, Liard Hot Springs, Dawson Creek, Banff, Missoula, Casper, Deadwood. I would consider different routes if it makes a difference between making the trip happening or not happening. Thanks in advance.
