Which 2-1 Exhaust would you pick?
Looking at new exhaust for my 2001 Electra Glide, head pipe is cracked again and my V&H twin slash mufflers are getting long in the tooth.Which of these three (2-1 black is my preference) would be my best bet,or are there others out there to consider? I should just get them from an American retailer and pick them up at the border, but not planning a ferry ride in the near future.
Vance and Hines Pro Pipe at Fortnine-$1100
Reinhart Rinehart Racing 2-into-1 -$1035
Arlen Ness / Magnaflow Ness-Comp 2 into 1 System at Heritage-$849
Magnaflow Performer 2 into 1-$730
Seems to be some confusion on the Magnaflow fitment listings though,HCW
site says the Ness-Comp will fit 1995-2016 but Magnaflow doesn't show that.

Hi Tfi, at this time the Ness-Comp 2-1 system for touring bikes is compatible with 2009-2016 models only. If there are any other questions we can answer, please feel free to shoot over a PM!

Currently both bikes are on a V&H Pro Pipe. Pipe puts out good torque and hp, on the Train (88, intake mods), really shines on the Glide (95, cams, hi comp). Having said that, the only thing I've got to compare them to is the previous exhaust system, Kerker slip ons with Mikuni baffles, which in my opinion are great slip ons for baggers, but no matter how good, the Pro Pipe is on a different level...I'll never go back..

Actually,$671 but sadly that is in USD $,shipping and conversion to CDN $ will likely bring the total close to the number I listed above.Nothing wrong with the Pro-Pipe,had one on my Dyna years ago,no problem with going with another one.

No need, many of us in BC take advantage of many of the shipping depots conveniently located steps across the border,I actually cross south of the US border several times a week and look longingly across the water to the American side.Sadly,it is a day long ordeal to take the $70 two hour ferry ride off this island, pick up some parts, check out a few things on the mainland and take the $70 boat ride back home.Oh well, that's the price one has to pay to live on an island in the Pacific Ocean, wtf was I thinking when I decided to move here...
