Sportster puttering and stalling
Good afternoon everyone, got a new problem on my 1999 Sportster Custom today. For a little back story I just changed the handlebars, throttle cables, and clutch lever assembly earlier this week. After changing the handlebars and cables i did a test drive and it went great! But after changing the clutch lever assembly and took out for a test the engine began puttering and stalled out and would not restart. Im thinking a possible fuel delivery/clutch slippage issue. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Does not sound like clutch unless it;s not shifting or stuck in gear or something clutch related.
Is your fuel petcock one of those that has a vacuum line running to it? If so, that vacuum hose/line can be accidentally disconnected either at the petcock or the carb? The petcock needs vacuum to make it flow fuel. When your bike died, did it act like it ran out of fuel? YD
