What rejet kit do I need and is it easy to do yourself

Default What rejet kit do I need and is it easy to do yourself

Ok so I have a 2000 sportster 1200c and I just installed the Vance and Hines straightshots I kno it is recomended to rejet and I am in the near future going to order a kurykahn Hypercharger air cleaner does anyone kno what size jets I should get and also is it easy to do yourself if anyone has any information on this with pictures on how to do it or anything it would help me Alot and I would appreciate it thanks

You may want to stay away from the hypercharger, I had one on my softail, didn't like it.It has a bad rap here on the forum. I don't know which carb is on that sporty but if you do a search on here, you'll find some info. Or you could post this thread on the sportster forum.

Everything you need to know about jetting is in the sticky's at the top of this forum. And forget the Hypercharger and just go with a K&N set up.
