Default 1929 1000cc J Model.

Who else has one? Or similar "F Head" or "Inlet Over Exhaust Valve" or whatever you want to call em. Bought her for $800 Aus about 35yrs ago, and still unrestored. Chasing the original Dual Bullet Headlights the hardest parts to find. Rare as rocking horse ****!!

Every spare chance I get, I'm working on my other bikes and other things that take up time. When I 1st saw her, leaning against the outside wall, out in the weather, I thought "You poor ol bastard"...I only had $800 in the bank to!! Plus on crutches from being run over by a .235 drunk and off work for 4 yrs. So she was a boost for my extremely low spirits. A very special bike that's staying in my family. And MY FIRST HARLEY DAVIDSON!! So who else is an F-Head owner?

Thanks for sharing that photo. I have a set of gas tanks that I was trying to identify and your photo answered that.
