Hi everyone,
Recently my grandfather passed away. He was a big automobile fan but also dabbled in motorcyles.

we found this engine and know that it works but I’m hoping to find a year or any other info on it. I read that the Schebler float feed carb indicates it is at least post 1909, and it has three areas marked with the same serial# 9892

any help on what year or the value would be much appreciated as I’ve got about 10000 other items to research.

My guess, an 1910 30 CI 4.34 hp. This is just a guess, pre 1912, and post 1906.

Someone who can trace those numbers ought to be able to tell you exactly when.
