I am going through some family photos and I have come across a picture I can't identify that maybe you would like to help with. Here is a photo of my father's Uncle on the back of an early Harley Davidson - year???

I'd say that's a pretty fair guess if not spot on.

To me it appears to be a 1914 Model 10-E, footboards were first available for the 1914 model year. Also, it's not a two-speed model 10-F as I don't see the small lever to operate the two-speed rear hub.

(edit) .. I should have first welcomed BfloJim to the Forums with his first post and thanked him for posting the early H-D family photo. I have a family photo of my Great Grandfather also seated on a 1914 H-D Model 10-E twin taken in Milwaukee WI where my family roots are. His cycle was additionally fitted with a speedometer and an acetylene headlamp.

BfloJim, did your family photo originate in New York, or was it taken in another city/state?
