THe bike was red when I bought it. The bags were the exact same red as original. It was kinda neat how the complimented each other. But I had the bike all painted at the same time. Fat Boyz in Colorado springs painted the scoot.

 

I sold the “classic” bags off my ‘01 and installed cheapo hard bags from Amazon.

I use my bags every time I ride. I didn’t like the way the tops work on the leather bags. When I stop, my right side bag lid is open until it’s time to get going.
It’s a matter of taste as to which bag looks the best.
