Buell X1 Lightning
I'm looking at buying a Buell. I found a 2000 X1 Lightning. It seems to be in great shape with a lot of mods. The guy is asking 5k for it. According to NADA, the average retail of this bike is 2500. He has a lot invested in the bike with mods. I'm not sure if the bike is worth 5k though...I could use some help from those of you that may know. The list of mods is as follows:

If you can get it for 4k I would hop on it but then again im cheap. 5k not bad Nada is just for stock bike. If you add up all the parts and labor powder coating plus the dyno tune for the race ecm to get the bike where its at now it will be over 5k easy. If the bike been cared for which it sound like it is I would buy it. Check out badweatherbiker for buell enthusiast. Also remember the X1 was the flagship for buell before the xb models
This guy is a douche. He said he can't find the paper work to prove the parts and work done to the bike but, he might take the $5k if I come by. I told him I'm not willing to pay more than twice the value for a bike in which he can't prove what has been done to it. The search continues....
