Default Deep Scratch in fuel tank

I have an 06' FXST, glossy black color. Washing the bike the other day I accidently dropped the speedometer console off the side of the tank and it dinged the tank pretty good in a couple spots(I can see a little white and my fingernail catches slightly on the scratches) I have tried buffing them with Mcguires products, no luck might be too deep past the clear coat. Is ther anything I can do ie, touch up paint or will this not turn out right. The scratches are in a location where I see them everytime I throw the leg over the old girl, really pisses me off. Any info would be appreciated.

Default RE: Deep Scratch in fuel tank

If your fingernail catches in the scratch you will not be able to remove it. You will have to use touch-up paint.
