Default Buffing and care for polished aluminum wheels (Centerline)

New to this. Any suggestions on buffing kits and compounds etc . . .

Thanks but it is a new wheel.
When the tire was mounted they tried to clean the dirt off and it has micro scratches and swirls now.
I looked at detailing sites and everyone has their own approach, too much info.

spoiler alert, polished aluminum is micro-scratches.
for lite repair use a white compound or a jeweler's rouge and a cotton buff. use very little pressure.
probably the dirt was the issue because they did not remove it properly.
polished a ton of aluminum making steel guitar frames.

Hmmm, learned something new. Then I have scratches. Do I do the cotton buff by hand with a cotton buffing pad?

Your rims look fine compared to your lower fork legs.

it is preferable to have a machine to do the work since the human hand is inconsistent.
