BAD MOVE!

The power washer will introduce water into places where you don't want water, causing you a bunch of problems ( most electrical) and if you have the smallest of chips in the paint, there is always the possibility that the pressure will blow off more paint. Trick is to use low pressure as in open hose with no nozzle to rinse it off.

I will agree about the problems using a high pressure washer. Water might get to places and do things that you don't want to happen. I just use the garden hose and it does a good enough job for me.

Just spray it with S100 or whatever you use and rinse it off with the garden hose. I think a pressure washer is a little too much for a bike.

I have a pressure washer (portable) that has a nozzle on the end that you change the pressure with. I have the thing on the lowest setting, and it more or less "pours" water on to the bike with minimal pressure.

I would not hit it with the full 1300 psi, I agree with above, use S100...works great. Simple Green is another economical solution.

The simple green works very well, but if you do a search on the internet, there was a warning about using large amount of water for flushing because of a corrosive nature if any residue is left on aluminum

Simple Green's not for Aircraft Washing (aluminum)
Don't use Simple Green to wash aircraft or aircraft components.
It has been brought to the attention of the AMCOM Depot Maintenance Engineering Team that numerous units are using the commercial product SIMPLE GREEN as an aircraft wash. STOP! This product has been through DoD testing and was determined to be highly corrosive on aircraft aluminum. It can also be a catalyst for hydrogen embrittlement in high strength aircraft alloys.

While it is a highly effective cleaning agent for floors and non-aluminum/non-high strength alloy vehicles, this product is not approved for aviation usage.
If your unit has been using SIMPLE GREEN on a regular
basis, it is recommended that a thorough fresh water wash with the approved cleaners per the appropriate airframe maintenance manuals be accomplished as soon as practicable. This should be followed up with a corrosion inspection/treatment and application of approved CPCs.

Insure that no unauthorized cleaning products are being used on your aircraft or in the shops as a component cleaner.
