I've always used Chrome Polish made by Turtle Wax. Available at any auto parts store.

 

I was impressed with mothers metal polish. Seemed to do a nice job on the stuff that needed to be polished up on both my car and, the bike. Small jar, cream colored. Rub in, rub off. Not too hard to work with. Flitz is not as good as this product.
