Default Front turn signals wiring question

Do I need to completely remove tank to get to connectors for front turn signals? I currently have Joker LED markers that I want to replace with stock+CD LEDs. I did slide tank w/o removing it completely and was expecting to find connectors in the neck, but no luck with that. I see wires going deep into the fram with no connectors in sight. Also, those LED markers have only 2 wires (no running lights) , so I can't just cut & splice..

Just slide the tank back and take the bottom plastic plate off thats right under the frame and also take the side rubber grommet out. Tug on the wire slightly and you'll figure out the rest.

When I did a turn signal relocation on my 09 street bob, just slid the tank back, pulled the rubber grommet out. Carefully keep pulling wiring and it will all eventually come out.
