I am fairly new to the wide glide. She takes quite a bit to crank and start. I will check the plugs when I get home. I know its cold out but how can I improve starting her up on a cold morning, new battery? Better plugs? Fuel additives?

Mine SB cranks right up like normal when it's down in the 30's. fuel additives and such aren't going to help. Most likely is your battery is on its way out. Is it a slow weak crank or does it just crank and crank then eventually fire up? Slow and weak crank is battery, while crank and crank is a possible fueling issue. New plugs might help a little depending on how bad/mileage on your current plugs. How cold are we talkin?

I don't have any problems starting in this weather. But like brought up, your battery might be marginal. I keep mine on a tender all year. Take the battery to an auto parts store and have it load tested.
Another problem could be a hole in the fuel line in the tank.
You didn't mention what kind of tuner you have but depending on the settings you might need to tweak it a bit.

I bought the bike used so who know's how the battery was kept up. Right now I plan to keep her on a tender while she is sitting. When I got her there was a quart of oil left in the damn thing. Brake fluid was nasty. So I changed all the fluids, next up is new break pads. I'll change the spark plugs for the hell of it, they are cheap and easy to put in.
