The bags will go, new bars. Lots of chrome upgrades. Update the engine possibly. Stay tuned but don’t hold breath, ha ha

Nice project..... but......

IMHO... sure hope you lose that air cleaner...!

Well after getting bucked off my Bob this April for a 8 yr old kid who didn't know to cross a four lane street. I had some crash damage to fix . I had my dealer do most of the work and they came through as always for me . Still waiting on some parts that are back order but I am ready for the 120th . One extra thing I was on the fence about but have one on my Wife's 48 special was a front crash bar . I got the larger hood style from Harley and it was the easiest thing I have installed on the bike next to my tuner . Went black versus chrome just because I m not a chrome guy .

I have been thinking about a engine guard for my '07 FXDB with forward controls. Couldn't seem to find one. What is the P/N for that one you have?

I used part number 49320-09 which is gross black . This one is what I can the big hoop style versus like mustache bar. This bar is also in chrome if that works for you versus black. Super simple install, I put bolt in top bar first loose with loctitie and then did right side bar clamp and then left side bar clamp. Making sure clamp was in between frame and clutch cable. Torqued everything to the specs in directions. Some people have said they had to grind holes or whatnot because it wouldn't line up. I didn't see any issues. Had mine on in 15 minutes . I was told you can use soft lower kits on these bars for more wind protection. I will post once I get a set to try

I WILL look into that one. Looks very nice. Black is perfect, works with the denim black tins, even if it's gloss. Easy to fix the color if I want.

Thank you very much!!

Oh one more thing , these bar kits till to get back ordered quite a bit so keep that in mind if you order through dealer . Mine took 12 days which was pretty quick since I have been waiting for new mirrors and fairing since May 17th
