Someone should talk with MOCO, if their speedos are so inaccurate that one would travel almost 20 MPH faster than indicated. I'm sure you were obeying the limit per the speedo read out, right........ ? tp

 

I sent the seat in the first pic back to Saddlemen, I received one with no carpet on the bottom, they're handling it.


This wasn't as hard as I thought, she's road trip ready. Don't like the look of that stock seat.

Next Im stripping the forks.

 

Nothing but rode the shix out of her today. First really beautiful 75 degree day this season. Didn't look at the miles but burned thru a whole tank of gas. Lovin every minute in the wind.

 

Stuck a mustang squareback seat on. Nothing big but I'd like to give a shout out to Jp cycles, they shipped it fast. I honestly wasn't expecting it until next week end.

 

Wiped her down and cursed the rain that won't end.

Installed Arlen Ness Fusion Smoothie Grips, plasti-dipped the chrome on the battery cover, and plasti-dipped the belt cover, added my cup holder.







With all that done... had to take a ride. BTW, I've never had this happen before, but the my riding buddy for the day was my salesman from Woodlands HD. I posted on Facebook that I was taking a ride, and he messaged me "What's up? Riding today?" Like I said, never had that happen, and I thought it was cool as hell.

 

Fired it and put the first 60, or so, on the new S&S.

 

Rubbed her down.

Warmed her up.

Donned protection.

Stradled her.

Rode her hard.

Made her pass out.



Story.... You guys understand everything until the pass out part.

She died/ left me stranded right in the middle of town.

No power. Dead. Nothing.

Fuses are good. New signals aren't drawing too much power. Coil is good.


AAAHHHHHHH.... the NEG battery terminal wasn't tightened.

DUMBASS!

Tightened it up, fired...
