What's the difference in the seats fitting different models? Like if someone has a seat that fits a 2000 Dyna, is it something I could change the rigging on the bottom to fit my 2012?

So has anyone done this - fit a 96-03 seat to a current 06+ bike. Does it fit the curve of the rear fender, or is it totally screwball different?

(Looking to fit an old-style Wide Glide seat to a newer Wide Glide.)

I don't know how it would fit, but I have a beat up 99 DWG seat you can have for the cost of shipping if you want to try it.

It's this one:
(The area that butts up against the tank is worn thru, otherwise it's pretty good.)

Default Chrome headlight

Looks great. Do you still have the chrome headlight? If it fits my SuperGlide I would be interested in buying it.

Today I cleared out/made room in the 10' x 10' shed for the Kawasaki, then got the Kawasaki out of the shop in preparation for the Dyna "makeover". A little rearranging in the shop and I will have plenty of room. It''s not a big shop (12' x 16') so its already much nicer without two big bikes in there.

That's rapidly becoming an unavoidable chore for me as well. Not looking forward to it so I keep putting it off. :/

I had to push myself to get out there and do it. I didn't feel like it at all - yet once I got into doing it, it wasn't so bad. Nothing to it but to do it!

I'm the same way. The hard part is getting started. Up to now the shitty rainy weather has been a good excuse to put it off. Running out of excuses!

I've got the equivalent of three bikes in pieces sitting put there and no more room for a damn thing. 1/3 of it needs to go to the basement or ebay. Another 1/3 needs to go to the shed. The rest is either scrap or the DWG project.

Elvis is in the house. V111 arrived today with its brother Barnett Scorpion and new clutch basket, topped off with new starter ring and starter gear kit. The new starter ring will turn the big engine over easier. All most ready for the festivities.
