Talking

First day this week with decent riding weather!
So what did I do...?
I opened the throttle up as wide as I could on the way to work!

Damn,
I'm spending more money on my engine and could have shaved a second off with just a fairing. How many shifts did you miss on baseline run?

OK now that is a cool bike!!! And yeah Photobucket blows now. Glad I don't have anything important on there and since most all sites now do pictue uploads I don't really need photobucket anymore.

Thanks, tnriverlover!

In other news...
Been trying to get a custom seat pan from my previous builder but he's been unresponsive so I reached out to Pete at Rocket Bob's. Hopefully he is interested and has time. <fingers crossed>

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to getting my forks back from Howard and getting back to building. Been kinda in a funk lately and haven't got much accomplished.

Aye! I know the feeling.

Slight change of plans...again.

After I get the front end back together, I'll be taking the 1.75" lowering blocks off and re-installing the 1" lowering blocks so I can go ride the bike. After that ride (or two, or three) I'll be taking off the rear wheel to put on the new rear tire. I'll put the 1.75" lowering blocks back on when I get down to 180 lbs. I havent been 180 for a couple decades at least.

I'll be glad when I get the handlebar wires wired back up to the bikes wiring. It has me a little concerned. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. It should be color coded. I labeled them but the label marks have worn off already.

And that front brake switch was the devil to get working right the last time.

New derby cover for a little personalization.

Just ordered Progressive 444 rear shocks, V&H straight shot slip ons, and a FP3. Ok, I'm broke now...

Just scored a new K&N Aircharger on eBay for $94 instead of $325. Now for the waiting game before I can install it on my FXDB. The matte black and emblem should match nicely with my matte black and tank badge.
