As I stated earlier, I see the economics of not having an engine for only one model, and creating a better handling frame, but the Dyna models's have almost a cult following, compared to the other models.

Wonder if MoCo realizes just how many current FXR/Dyna owners have no desire to own a Softail, or they would have already have one...

Could there be plans to turn the Sportster into a softail TOO? Just cause for further alienation of Harley lovers, should that happen. Who know, but being the new bikes say Harley on then, I'll bet they will sell to someone. tp dd50

Went up to the dealership to take some test rides. Rode a road king and street glide. Both late model used bikes. After the rides, I fell in love....with my bike, all over again lol

Nah I'm good. I know how metric bikes ride. No need to test ride these just because they have HD on the gas tanks. I'd hack my junk off before I'd put it in the seat of one of those. I'm old school. Young, but as old school as someone can get. I live outside the norm. Not conform to it. That's what the Harley culture was founded upon. Now it's going to ****. It started as rebellious. Then catered to white collar weekend warriors that cared more about owning a Harley then they did riding it. Now it's all about falling in line with the rest of the major motorcycle companies. It's gone so far away from its roots and the true culture that it's pathetic.

Cool, so what did you guys do to your Dynas today?

I was tired of tripping on them, so I moved a big pile of take offs to the basement.

Rode mine to work today. Just like every single day for the last 3 1/2 months, weekends included. Haven't started my car once in that entire time except to go get some building supplies. Hard to balance T-111 on your head on two wheels......

Peripheral, but I forgot I've been checking the UPS Tracking website and the news several times a day since Friday because my Nix30s never arrived. They're coming from Miami.

Hopefully Howard (from Motorcycle Metal) is safe and sound. As well as our other Floridians, of course.

I washed mine today. Caught a bit of rain while I was at Las Vegas Thursday.
