I have the regular weekday 2 up, not the XL version, and its super comfy! I didnt spring for memory foam or air hawk, but I'm completely satisfied with the base model. Haven't had a chance to go on any real long rides with it yet, but I commute 82 miles a day, and it feels great! The main difference from mine to the XL version, is the passenger area, which is fairly acceptable, although I'm sure my wife would prefer the wider one.

my sig pic has the xl on it...i could make an hour before all i could think about was how uncomfortable i was i gave it more than the 1000 mile break in time...firm is an understatement like a futon if you were buying a bed. i now have the classic solo with pillion from corbin ive done 11 hrs with zero issues.....thats the bummer about seats... you gotta put out a lot of cash and you dont know. i was on here and someone just posted about the corbin as the best they had tried and i ordered the same that day love mine.

monster, don't we have the short-hop?

took a while to find out but there's very little difference between the short-hop and the weekday - mostly passenger comfort. the xl part is also all about the passenger.

they're quite firm but super comfy, i threw mine on and took off for 14 days and 4000 miles the very next day... not a single regret (maybe in my choice of socks, but not in the seat)

Haha yes your right it is the 2up short hop xl. I don't know why I always think it's called the weekend 2up xl. My bad, thank you for correcting me! Here's a pic to make up for my bad info

From what I've seen and read the weekday 2up, and the short hop 2up XL are the same seat, as far as the rider section goes. The difference is the shape of the passenger seat. The regular short hop is way different, and has almost no back support ( and kinda ugly IMO)

Thanks ... the GF will NOT be happy with a short hop after a Mustang Vintage wide But I hate the looks of the big bulky mustang
