noticed this part was missing from your parts list in the original post. might be nice to add it since it seems kind of important (i've only realized this after buying everything else and discovering i didn't have this, lol)

great guide though, man, really helped a newbie like me out in sourcing the parts i needed.

edit: i see you got yours in your original parts that you purchased, that's why i missed it. drat.

it’s basically the same. Just different part numbers.

 

Pretty easy conversion to do. Just did this on my 97 Wide Glide.

 

Planning on doing the same on my '06 Dyna ! Will be interested in following you along.
