can someone measure the mounting points on saddle bags on their Dyna for me "Center to center". I wanna see if it's doable to mount a set of the brown leather saddlebags for a Dyna to a Softail.

 

center to center they're not the same if you're looking for a direct bolt on. But more specifically a Dyna what? I do believe the fender struts are different from 05 down as they are from 06 up. I can't remember off hand exactly but my '14 FXDB I thought was like 10.375" or something like that. Don't have the bike with me today or I'd measure it for you.

 

i'm looking to get rid of my heritage saddle bags and go with the brown distressed leather dyna bags for the newer models if i can get them to fit. i figured i'd have to do some modifications. just kicking around how and to do that i need the measurements.

I can't believe that not one person can walk out to their garage take a tap measure and measure the mounting bolts center to center. I guess everyone is too busy discussing oil viscosity's again and whether or not to use synthetic. smh
