Default fxdwg tire options

So my 11 wide glide has only 4300 miles on it. Were heading to laconia in 2 weeks so i was doing a look over and noticed my tires are getting a little iffy. Rear is down to just above 2/32 at the lowest and front is 3/32 but is pretty chopped. What other options are out there?

I don't know what your options are but am trying to figure out how you wear them out so fast. My Dunlops went 10,000 on the rear and 15,000 on the front and still had some left when I replaced them. 07' wideglide.

And Id rather feel more confident and need tires every 6k then get a real high mileage tire that doesnt ride well. Any input is appreciated

I've got the Pirelli Night Dragons on my 08. They really grip the road and ride super smooth. At 3500 miles the front is 1/2 gone and the back isn't far behind. I got them for the 81 load rating on the rear tire. I might try something different on the front next time, like maybe a Dunlop Elite 3.

With that priority I would suggest Avons.

The '11 WG tires do not last. Every one I've talked to that has one said the same. So it's not just you.
