Default 1998 fxdl - 41k miles suspension worn?

Hey I've got 41k miles on this bike and find it a bit squirrelly feeling on the highway with suspension feeling too soft cornering too unsure feeling. Front fork oil with screamin eagle heavy duty made no difference. At this number of miles are springs generally worn out? What is the best way to fix this? I bought used so do not know what it felt like new.

Thanks

new springs in the forks and a new set of shocks in the back will make a difference. good luck.

I'd check and replace both front and rear engine mounts/isolators. The front is notorious for giving out, and it will make the bike feel squirrely

47564-90B ISOLATOR, REAR
47583-90B ISOLATOR, FRONT

Springs may break, but they generally don't 'wear out'. Sounds like your front suspension is fine. New rear shocks wouldn't hurt.

That squirrelly in the corners is a worn front mount. Rear may be as well. Just replace both it will feel like new
