Default custom headlight install

I have an 05 and I want to swap out the stock headlight with one I got in the EU.
The design on the EU has one light bulb on the left with a larger lens (I think that;s low) and one on the right has a smaller lens (I think that's high beam).
New headlight has 4 wires; a hot and ground for each of the two bulbs;

The current switch on the bike is either low beam or high beam. Don;t know if that means both bulbs are on when high is on or only one is on at at time; low or high.
So, that would be the first question.

So the big question is how do I connect them so that either the low is on or both high and low bulbs are on at the same time?

Thanks for any help.

I could guess - and say one wire hot when the low beams on..., both are hot when the hi switch is hit

But let's not guess

You have / have access to a VOM or 12V test light - if so you can test and definitively determine if my guess is accurate

Stock is three wire. Two hots and a ground. Tie together the grounds on your new fixture. Viola, a three wire fixture.

Use the factory wiring diagram to sort out the details.

So let me understand this. Are you saying the bike wiring is internally wired to the switch one side of the rocker switch is low and the other is low and high together are already set that way and the light itself has nothing to do with it? Ie. All i have to do is wire hot to hot on each bulb and both grounds together? HMMMMMM?

thanks

Verify with your service manual, but yes, that should be it. Pretty simple

Yup..., but use a test light to verify
