Default Suction Cup-Mounted P-Pads?

Ran into a guy today who said he bought a suction-cup mounted p-pad that works well for him. Anyone have any experience with this? Found a source (Phantom Pads) at http://www.jpcycles.com/catalog/2007...alog/0167.html, and I like the look of the bolt-down-able one. Still, leary that the cups wouldn't work well on black denim...Thoughts?

The black denim paint must be the problem.I had one that stuck so good I was afraid to use it on my new paint.Didn't want to take a chance of damaging the paint. The wifey didn't care for it much either. She only rode on it once for about 30 miles, that was enough for her and it had the gel insert.

I threw one on for my ol lady about a month ago. It seemed to slide around on her a lil...nothing bad tho. I borrowed it from a friend, he said he had it for quiet sometime. I'm guess'n it was one of the first suction cup seat to come out, since it only had two big suction cups (thus being the reason it moved around a lil, I'm guessing), the newer ones I've seen had six smaller cups on them. They probably work a lil better.
