Default K&N replacement Air Filter for Low Rider S Heavy Breather

Hi, I'm trying to locate the part number for a K&N filter to replace the stock heavy breather filter on my Low Rider S. I always like having a spare so I always have a clean and oiled one ready to go. I called K&N but they didn't have a part number listed. The Stealer wants $120 for a filter (basically cause it's black.) and they couldn't cross reference a chrome one. I'm wondering if anyone has found a K & N cone type that will work with the HD Heavy Breather (Standard cone length not the compact one.)
Thanks.

I would measure the diameter of the pipe and the length of the filter and you could probably find a generic K&N pretty easily.

At that price I just clean mine and wait for it to dry. $120 for a filter F that. Wow that's outrageous .

I agree. But with Murphy's law and all, I want a spare just in case. I'm trying to find the K&N and think I found one, but need to double check my measurements. Funny thing is my dealer can't tell me if the chrome heavy breather filter will fit my bike. That filter is "only" $89.95. Crazy thing is there are like 8 or so different part numbers for the Heavy Breather Kit. With the 110 engine in my Low Rider S, I am guessing the bike came stock with the "Touring" model Heavy Breather Kit.

Sounds like you ride in the dirt. I kept a fresh, oiled filter in a gallon ziplock in my truck, in my 5th wheel, and one in the garage for my WR and the kid's RM.

Having said, I don't sweat this bike. I will likely ditch the K&N anyway, as I am not a fan of them on the street. I know Mr. Murphy, all too well, but do you really need to worry about this? I ride in all weather, and I don't.

I just washed mine for the first time at 3K, and was surprised that there was no sign of dust in the intake. The dealer said it was a dry filter, and I believed him. I found my old stash of NoToil for the dirt bikes, and gave her a good bath.
