Default 103 upgrade question

someone is trying to sell me an 08 dyna and they said it was upgraded to a 103. theres no paperwork to prove this. it has 103 emblems over everything. how can I tell if it was actually upgraded?

In my opinion, if they can't prove it, it isn't there. Pay what you would for a 96

I wouldn't pay any more for the bike if it really is a 103. What real value does that even add? If you like the bike and the price, buy it. If not, keep looking.

Find a bike with documented service records, either by the owner or a shop. If someone took the time to buy and install "103" stickers and they had the work actually done, they would have a way to prove it. Bogus. Find another bike.

what would the compression be on a 103. i know they have 9.5 to 1, thinking about 160psi.

I agree. If they do not have anything to back it up I have to assume they are not telling the truth. Who knows what else they are hiding. I would find another bike.
