Default Where to Ride in Houston

Where in Houston can I find a place to hang out? I rode the Dyna down from Dallas and will be here until the 8th. I see lots of scooters. I just never see any of them parked anyplace. Dallas has Strokers. Anyone have suggestions for Houston?

Thanks!

I am new to riding in Houston my self long time resident short time rider ,but Papa'sI believe is the name up in Conroe on the 105 west of 45 is one of the bigger gathering spotsI have found. There are numerous little bars around town that have quit a few bikes sitting out front. I live in the Heights area 610 main north side and useually ride out of the city to get outof the dam traffic.There is another ice house south of I 10 on highway 6 that is a good spot as well. Montgomery county has several bars that catter to bikers primarily in the area but a bit of a ride from houston proper. Not sure if this is gonna help much but bestI can do atm.Can send me an email if ya like could probably head out to conroe if ya like ...though i may try to hit up austin this weekend.

Places to go get a cold one:
The Dam Ice House (Hwy 6 South of I-10); The County Line (290 & 362 in Waller); Texas Thunder Saloon (FM 1488, 12 miles north from 290); The Poop Deck in Galveston; The Richmond Strip has several popular bars
Place to go for a ride:
Go out 290 to Brenham to La Grange to Eagle Lake;
or Head down 36 to the coast (there is a pretty good watering hole near Damon, but I am drawing a blank on the name);
or Head west out old Hwy 90 to Shiner ( I hear the brew a pretty good beer there)

If you are around this weekend, drop me a line. I'll be out riding somewhere, just not sure where

Go to Galveston Sat. or Sunday and go to "The Spot" Sea Wall and 23rd or is it Sea Wall and 32nd. You can't help but see it. Saturday night has a live band.
