Ok, I know this topic is well discussed but I'm going to ask for some input on it again. I hope you'll bear with me.
I'll put the info. to good use. Haha......
I just bought a leftover 2016 Street Bob. I want a full exhaust system, there's so many to choice from. Loudness is a major concern so I'm asking you to tell me what you have and grade it on the 1 - 10 scale with stock being 1.
Please include the type if any baffle you have. I'm leaning toward 2 into 2 for the look but may do 2 into 1 also.
Thanks in advance.

D and D Fat Cat....2 into 1. Great sound, great power, costly, but worth it.

Just running V&H short shots. They look clean and sound great.

Reading is fundamental...

2 1/4" V-Twin Side Sweeps (mid-length drag pipes with turnouts) w/ no baffles. 7/10 loudness.

Least you're not asking:

Which oil..., shocks..., fork oil..., tires..., jack..., headlight..., battery - to use

Whether an actual dyno tune is warranted / better

Why the bike sporadically wobbles..., or..., how to fix intermittent electrical issues

Kudos for that

================

V&H big radius - they do get people's attention

I had cobra long shot 2 into 2 on my street bob with stock baffles. Probably a 5 or 6 on loudness. They do have a crossover port so they are like 2 into 1 into 2.

YOU forgot "What solo seat?"

OP - I've ran V&H big shots on two bikes, one with quiet baffles one without.

Quiet baffles was pretty good, maybe 4/10 no baffle probably 6/10 (if short shots are a 9/10)

I think the first thing that I would nail down is whether not you want a 2-1 or 2-2.

Secondly, I would decide if I want power or if I just want good sound. If you're looking for power then the sound that pipe makes just is what it is. But if you're looking for sound, well then it's limitless.

I have the Vance and Hines Competition Series 2-1. You can see mine here:

That's the problem with subjective evaluation...I would call Short Shots a 7. Maybe 8. Not that it really matters if the OP is looking for quiet. If.
