it would definitely be better if you have a second bike. That way you have a hot rod to play with, and another for daily driver or trips or whatever you use it for. But that's just my two cents. Again, for that price, I would jump on it. I also would suggest getting any documents you can on any parts or work that was done on it.

I don't mind super modded if the price is right, and it's dialed in. The only advice or hesitation I would offer is I wouldn't recommend getting one looking to change it up mechanically, cosmetically is fine.. The issue is that a new owner might not know everything the po did to dial it in... Changing up mechanical stuff while possible may have some additional unforeseen challenges. It's doable, but your not starting with a known baseline, i.e. stock bike..

Like the bike..., prefer it have an S&S - but then the price would reflect that
Listen for peculiar noises..., ask how many miles..., how it was broke in..., see if there maintenance records for oil change frequency (bruto's are tighter toleranced and need fresh oil)
Not the best set up..., but certainly not the worst
I'd buy it (but then swap the motor)
