Default Air intake on a 2002 Low Rider

I have a 2002 Low rider that already has a nice set of Vance & Hines shotgun pipes but the air intake was never upgraded. I would love to upgrade the air intake for one because I don't like the look of the stock one but also for the performance. Any recommendations on that type to get?

Also I have a carb'd bike so I am assuming I will have to get the carbs adjusted and the bike tuned after installing?

Thanks! Part of why I bought it is I really liked the retro style paint job.

Any aftermarket intake will give you all the airflow you need, and most will let you use different covers. You can spend a lot of money if you like the looks, but that's all you're really getting for the big bucks.
After having a Ness Big Sucker that fell apart after a few years I got one from DK Customs, one of the vendors here. Much better quality than the AN, not too spendy and I can use my old cover.
You will need to rejet the carb (you only have one), but other than that there should be no other tuning needed.

An air intake by itself, unless it's radical may not require rejetting. It will be slightly lean, but shouldn't be too bad. However, since it's also got an V/H exhaust system and stock air intake, which is a little odd (usually both are done). I might suspect a rejet was never done on just the V/H pipes...

I'd check V/H web page for a kit... I believe and exhaust and intake is stage 1, which should come with everything you need (slightly larger main jet and other stuff needle, etc) to get a bit more fuel.
