$70-$100 for a replacement K&N filter wakes the motor up nicely too.

I also added rox risers and covers for the headlight and turn signals. That and keyed aluminium panniers and top box is about all I've done to mine. Oh and Heidenau K60 Tyres for 50/50

(Do you think we're pi$$ing people off with all the Beemer talk?)

Naw, the Mods only worry about it if you are talking about "Indians".

Well the mods are intelligent, because I aint moving from this forum lol to the Beemer forums, we know how to turn a wrench, and a few of the ops here got the same Beemers in their garage so better, get a little help here from ops that know what they are really talking about, this forum rocks and the ops are so generous in helping, it actually feels like a virtual family.

Certainly not me I love motorcycles, I'm a motorcyclist first, HD owner second. Next new bike is a Ducati, but BMW certainly does have some tempting treats that they offer

Oh man

I joined the BMW Motorcycle Club (10% discount off parts and service) and when I got access to their forum the very first thread was:
"Suggestions on re-dying my lambs wool seat cover"

I logged off, never went on one of their rides.

I looked at the Ducati but at the end of the day, made a compromise with the old lady as she felt more comfortable on the GS, and also the stealer service charges for the Ducati where crazy expensive, with the GS I have mates who have them so wrenching will work out cheaper, as they know a few tricks, they reckon the new GS 2018 will be 140 hp and with a new TFT screen, so as I do not like to new, I went with the last of the old 2017 model 125 hp is plenty fast.
