Default Did I Hear Right ???

I was on my way home to Indiana from Alabama as I passed a Harley dealer in Bowling green Ky I decided to call them and ask some questions and a sales guy and I got into a discussion about my 2016 low rider with 120R and has 4800 miles on it and I explained I was trying to sell it for a give away price of 13300 . I am 70 and never raced it but anyway he told me that Harley has eliminated the dyna series! Now I have yet to go on a Harley website but I am now to check but if true WOW! He said the soft tail was replacing the dyna series!... However NOW when I ride my Harley and enjoy the freedom of open road I say I don't give a crap if I sell it because its a hell of a ride ! My age is showing up when I ride it tho'. My bones hurt after couple hours.

You heard right. No more Dynas. RIP.
They're all softails now, with new frames and suspension. Some of it looks very interesting but I'm keeping my Street Bob for a long time.

He spoke truth, but the new softail frame is vastly improved over the old softail frame. They really aren't very comparable. Stronger, lighter, over 5" of rear travel and lean angles equal or better than Dyna.

Correct. Some of the Dyna model names remain, but are now organized under the Softail header.

The Dyna name and frame are dead and gone.

You heard loud and clear, and if I may say this respectfully, at 70 you should do whatever you feel you want to do to enjoy your riding days, my good friend and neighbor is hitting 80, he used to ride a Harley up to 10 years ago, then switched to a 2 wheel scooter 500cc, now he rides a 3 wheel Piaggio scooter 500cc and loves every minute of it, no flies on him, just enjoy what you feel is comfortable and safe.

They really need to rename the entire line since the so called Softails really aren't Softails anymore either. Completely different suspension setup from past Harleys.

The old softtail are gone also. It's an all new frame just using the softtail name for the entire cruiser family
