Good luck in your next venture, and remember when you remove all the fender bolts the fender will fall

I'm very sorry that you won't be out riding your bike you built, but I understand. I've very much enjoyed your posts and grateful for your help with building up my bike. Hopeful I'll soon read a post that's titled something like "f*ck this not riding crap, I got another bike!!!!"

Thanks guys!

Stres, I still laugh hysterically when I remember the dumbfounded feeling I had when that happened!

What’s the point if we cannot laugh?
Good luck to you in the future hope to see you on the forums in one way or another, and I might reach out to you about cam install in the future. But not about fender installations

Can't say I blame you. I've fought the urge to list mine for sale knowing that I'd miss it in 5-10 years when I have more free time. We just welcomed our second child this year. The bike has been on the jack since end of July. It's paid off and insurance is only $250/year. If someone came up and offered me what they offered you I'd have to take a hard look at it.

Good for you. You had a great vision and made an incredible looking machine. It is always a good thing to get back a good value on your bike when selling.

With the passage of time you may want another bike but it could be a different vision. It could be even an inexpensive small bike or scooter just to get in the breeze once in awhile without tying up a lot of cash.

Good luck and best of all its to someone you know. It may wind back up in your hands down the road again. Never know. But yeah, I can relate. After a run of 25 yrs and always having some form of sportbike, I up and sold em. Took 5 yrs away from the street and kept to dirtbikes and jumped into Jeeping. Jumped back on the street over a yr ago with my LRS purchase. Have that modded nicely and now a streetglide next to it in the garage for rides with the lady. Id bet you'll be back. Bikes will always be around. The family times together wont. Enjoy those first! Right move.
