Adios to my Dyna (and MC for now)
Well guys and gals,
It's been an incredible 3 years here. With the help of this board I've learned a ton, and spent a ton to boot. I took a perfectly good stock, brand new 2014 Street Bob, and turned it into the beautiful bike below and I've loved every moment. From the first modification of exhaust to upgrading engine, heads, pistons, etc. very few original parts remained.
But alas, as fun as it's been, I got an incredible offer from my previous boss to buy the bike which I decided was right for me right now. The life my family and I have built these last couple of years just doesn't allow for as much riding as I would like, and I couldn't turn down the offer. Today I signed over the title to him, although the bike remains in my garage and I'll drive it to him in San Diego later this week (he doesn't currently have an up to date license).
I certainly plan to continue on these boards for a while, offering any advice to the newbie that I can, while watching for potentially a new project bike to buy and play with. But in the meantime, thanks to so many of you for all the help and guidance that you've given me over the last few years!

Well, that’s just f’n wrong. But if it’s right in your mind, then that’s what matters.
I suspect it won’t be that long until you miss riding (however little opportunity gives you) that you are back on two wheels. I know that even if fate only allowed me a couple hours a week riding, I’d cherish those hours.
You’ll be back.
Find a nice old FXR and we’ll be talking again. Until then - FU and your cage. JK of course, brother. Take care.
