Default Adios to my Dyna (and MC for now)

Well guys and gals,

It's been an incredible 3 years here. With the help of this board I've learned a ton, and spent a ton to boot. I took a perfectly good stock, brand new 2014 Street Bob, and turned it into the beautiful bike below and I've loved every moment. From the first modification of exhaust to upgrading engine, heads, pistons, etc. very few original parts remained.

But alas, as fun as it's been, I got an incredible offer from my previous boss to buy the bike which I decided was right for me right now. The life my family and I have built these last couple of years just doesn't allow for as much riding as I would like, and I couldn't turn down the offer. Today I signed over the title to him, although the bike remains in my garage and I'll drive it to him in San Diego later this week (he doesn't currently have an up to date license).

I certainly plan to continue on these boards for a while, offering any advice to the newbie that I can, while watching for potentially a new project bike to buy and play with. But in the meantime, thanks to so many of you for all the help and guidance that you've given me over the last few years!

Well, that’s just f’n wrong. But if it’s right in your mind, then that’s what matters.

I suspect it won’t be that long until you miss riding (however little opportunity gives you) that you are back on two wheels. I know that even if fate only allowed me a couple hours a week riding, I’d cherish those hours.

You’ll be back.

Find a nice old FXR and we’ll be talking again. Until then - FU and your cage. JK of course, brother. Take care.

Palm Desert is finally getting into the "riding season" and you're selling? Now is when you should be logging miles!
Maybe you can take the "scenic" route to Sandy Eggo! (Like thru Salton City!)

Well Robby, you have been fun to follow through all your great Threads, will miss all the mod info you have put out. But life never sits still, or shouldn’t anyway and our focus changes and we evolve. Enjoy the family, and keep chiming in!

It's a nice looking bike, at least you know somebody will be enjoying it. Good luck, I hope you find another project to enjoy.

It's too bad you didn't feel you were getting enough time on it to justify the value of the bike, but I hope you feel good about this after it is gone. Take it easy, man.
